TB GELDING 8/1/10
8/1/10: Cash is so happy. Rebecca is taking him home to continue his rehab from her ranch in Hemet. Its a great day for Cash. It was love at first sight!
8/28/10 update from Rebecca and Cash:
Hi Kim,
Here are some pics of Cash from today (Aug 28). He has been here 21 days now. I taught him how to ground drive in a halter today. He did so well once he figured out what I wanted, even in just a halter. I am teaching Buddy to pull an arena drag. They really love each other.
9/7/10 Update from Rebecca: Cash had his teeth done on Friday. I really like our vet out here, she was really well priced and went really slow with Cash to make sure he was comfortable. Some interesting things we learned about Cash:
He still has wolf teeth
his last molars are done erupting and his has no galwyne's grove, which means he is probably around 30 years old.
no racing tattoo
he had some huge hooks in there, on the left side he could not close his mouth all the way because of them.
She said his body condition is looking good and that I should start lightly riding him in another month or so. She did not find any fused joints, noticeable ringbone, or extensive arthritis.
Thank you Rebecca for helping Cash have a new chance in life........
